By on 01:08

Nigeria's north -eastern state of Adamawa authorities have order the close of all venues that screen live coverage of the World Cup since it is one of the Nigerian states brutally affected by recent terrorist attacks. This order was given after an intelligence report was procured on a planned bomb strike.
Brig-Gen Nicholas Rogers stated last Wednesday in Yola that "Our action is not to stop Nigerians from watching the World Cup. It is to protect their lives". The U.S embassy in Uganda earlier this month implored people to be cautious when visiting places that captivates large crowds. They further emphasized on the frequent threats of terror attacks in Uganda.
Four years ago, during the World Cup Final in South Africa, Islamists in Somali attacked two restaurants that were showing in Kampala, which took the lives of more than 70 peolple. This flag was raisedsince the Boko Haram Islamist mIlitants have repeatedly targeted the Adamawa state.

At least 14 people were killed at a bar that was showing a football match in a bomb attack in Adamawa. Boko Haram were the main suspects in the attack since the state is one of the three in Nigeria  placed under a state of emergency.
