Opambour Says Ebola Is Caused By Cannibalism and Not “Bush Meat” — Says God Revealed To Him

On one of his Sunday services, while educating and praying for his congregation and Ghana on Ebola at his Island City Church at Kokoben, Opambour claimed God has revealed to him that truly the Virus is real, but it’s not caused by “bush meat” as being speculated by health experts.
According to the Pastor, God revealed to him that, during the civil war in Guinea, many people who escaped into the forest due to the war, had to eat dead bodies out of hunger to survive, this is the source of the Ebola virus.
He further told his congregation not to be scared of “bush meat” and go ahead to eat as much as they wish because it is not the cause of the virus. He also cautioned health workers to stop misinforming the public about the virus because they are ruining the bush meat business. He made it clear, he doesn’t believe anything being speculated by health workers because they are all lies, but it’s what God has told him that’s the truth. He doesn’t care whether you believe him or not, but that’s the fact of the beginning of the virus, it was due to cannibalism by hungry refugees.

Nigeria Confirms 5 More Ebola Cases

AFP – Nigeria on Wednesday confirmed five new cases of Ebola in Lagos and a second death from the virus, bringing the total number of infections in sub-Saharan Africa’s largest city to seven.
“Nigeria has now recorded 7 confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVB)” health minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said.
Those who have died include the “index patient”, a Liberian who brought the virus to Lagos on 20 July, and a nurse who treated him, the minister added.

“All the Nigerians diagnosed with EBV were primary contacts” of Patrick Sawyer, who worked for Liberia’s finance ministry and contracted the virus from his sister, Chukwu said.
He travelled to Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, for a meeting of west African officials. Visibly sick upon arrival at the international airport in Lagos, officials said he was immediately transferred to the First Consultants hospital in the upmarket Ikoyi neighbourhood.

He died in quarantine on 25 July and the hospital has since been closed.
The five Ebola patients are being treated in an isolation ward in Lagos, the minister told journalists. Since breaking out earlier this year, the tropical virus has claimed almost 900 lives and infected more than 1 603 people across west Africa. The other cases have been reported in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

TB Joshua: I Can Heal Ebola Patients With Anointing Water

Famous Nigerian Pastor, Prophet TB Joshua, has volunteered to donate 2,000 bottles of healing anointing water – specially blessed at his Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria – to heal Ebola patients in countries where the haemorrhagic fever is wreaking havoc on innocent citizens.

He told his congregation in Nigeria, recently, that he is willing to personally take the bottles of anointing water to the governments of Nigeria, Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone - where the disease has killed at least 932 people - according to the World Health Organization, towards fighting it.
Joshua said he reserved the special anointing water for the Ebola epidemic because he had a vision earlier in the year that the world would be ravaged by the festering fever.
“At the beginning of this year, we said there will be a deadly disease…I mentioned it as one of the prophecies. …When this anointing water came, I told you I could not allow it anywhere because I was forseeing what is coming…,” he said.

There are international efforts to combat the disease, which the WHO has described as the "worst ever" outbreak of its kind.
