Swedish Man Dies After Jumping 600 Metres from Helicopter into Sea

A mentally unstable Swedish man was reported to have jumped from a helicopter into the North Sea on a flight from Sweden to Norway for medical care.


Unfortunately for the 37 years old man, after falling from 600 meters (2,000 feet) from the helicopter, he landed with his head, breaking his neck on impact.
According to report, he instantly died after falling into the sea. Police investigations show that he committed suicide.
From reports, the man was working on Statoil's Troll A platform - located 65 kilometers off the west coast of Norway - when he fell ill and was being taken to a hospital in the western city of Bergen.
