- "For me to believe, I would need to go through 3 stages ( shock, denial and acceptance) and for the moment I am still holding on to the denial stage." Okyeame Kwame said.
- When asked if Castro crafted the whole incident in order to gain popularity, Okyeame Kwame said " It is possible but looking at the reactions from his family members, I doubt Castro would be that insensitive to not inform his relatives,especially his mother and siblings, before carrying out with the plan.. I doubt Castro planned all this for popularity."
- He also advised that we should be cautious of the trending spiritual comments from "malam, maame water, papa water" and rather focus on the true story behind the tragic incident. Boat licenses should be introduced to train the general public on several features of water bodies. Flags and CCTV camera's should also be mounted to warn boat riders" he added.
- "I have watched survival series of people getting lost in a similar situation for 5 days. I am looking forward to seeing Castro". Okyeme Kwame said.
