After a week of thorough searches for the hip-life artiste (Castro), a dead body was discovered at the Sakumono beach, Tema.
The well built body, approximately 1.7m has since been speculated as that of Castro. The remains of the adult male was found at a spot known as Mighty Beach.
"The body has since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, awaiting D.N.A test and investigations".ASP Olivia Turkson said.
Police in Tema, with their counterparts at Ada, are leading a search for the two person – Theophilus Tagoe and Janet Bandu – who went missing while jet skiing on the Volta Lake.
The police officer concluded that only a DNA could determine if the remains was that of Castro’s.
He indicated that family members of Castro were yet to be informed so that they could come and inspect the body to see if it is that of their missing relative.
